Crafting barbed Baseball bats and Nailed bats

Two fairly easy recipes which give you melee wielding bats a bit more bang for their buck. The ingredients to craft the bats is easy to find also as you only need barbed wire and nails to go with the baseball bats. Nails are mostly found in supermarkets and residential areas. The wire fencing kit or barbed wire can be found usually in industrial areas like factory’s.

Crafting Bear Traps with Flares or Smoke

Sepsis Bandage

Currently a sepsis bandage will prevent the bleeding and with antibiotics curing the infection.

1.8 Update brings crafting to the Dayz Mod

Over on the official forums the dayzmod has just been updated to 1.8 and brings a great new addition in crafting.

The new recipes to craft have not been released yet but from what the changelog says they must be discovered. This must mean no guide will be published on how to craft and the community must find them out.

Some of the new items you can craft include medical supplies, tools, weapons and exiting new traps.
